Some things will never change, like the playful nature of children the world over. Children are adorable, mischievous, vibrant, energetic and are our future. Unfortunately some of our next generation are underprivileged and deprived of the basic needs of life.
Green Era is an International Charity Organisation that is working to provide the basic necessities of life for underprivileged children, and helping with the betterment and growth of young adults in impoverished communities.
Based in London, United Kingdom, Green Era has dual focus areas. Locally Green Era is working to start running awareness programmes on Sexually Transmitted Diseases and teenage pregnancies, and to help in the organisation of STD check up clinics. Abroad Green Era works in areas of Bangladesh, India and Nepal in a slightly different capacity, helping those who struggle with life everyday by providing basic requirements such as fresh water, food, clothes, medicine and in particular education and educational resources.
Both locally and internationally the common focus is on youth with a heavy emphasis on education. In international projects Green Era plays the role of a facilitator for community development, providing and assisting with the provision of education and vocational training, health awareness and service, nutrition, counselling, emergency relief, fund raising and socio-economic development regardless of caste, colour, sex creed, race and religion
